Marvin regularly performs at interesting and unusual places to all types of different audiences. From live TV appearances going coast to coast in the US, to street magic in Covent Garden. He has even performed his trickery at 35,000 feet.

However, possibly one of the most unique and challenging shows he had to perform was at the recent One Vision awards for the blind and partially sighted.

Marvin was one of the celebrities from the world of sport and entertainment who were there to entertain and honour the recipients at an inspiring awards ceremony.

Marvin said “Entertaining with magic to the blind and partially sighted has its challenges. Normally as a performer it is essential to be heard and seen. However, this was not possible on this occasion so I tried to make my material even more interactive. For example I normally would turn a borrowed £10 note into a £20 note. If your audience can’t differentiate – it is not much of a trick! However, I was shown the secret of how to tell if it is a £10 or £20 note purely by touch. I don’t give away my secrets so I won’t be giving away theirs!

Everyone seemed to enjoy it and for me it was privilege to meet the winners. I was inspired by their achievement and determination.”
