Marvin Berglas -the award winning magician and creator of Marvin’s Magic was on hand this week to answer  some of the questions Club Members asked him.

11 year old Ray Pritchard  from Essex wanted to know how he first got into magic. Marvin said ” Although I was brought up in a magical family – my dad David Berglas was an International TV personality and President of the Magic Circle -I only became serious about magic when I helped my Dad demonstrate some of his tricks at a magic convention in Lyon when I was 16″.

17 year old Josh Hunter fron Newcastle asked who his heroes are . Marvin replied ” I have many sporting heroes and through magic some have become my friends over the years which is cool….in magic besides my dad, I enjoy watching David Williamson, Hans Morretti, Michael Ammar and Kevin James”.

Sue Davis from Scotland asked what he is doing over the holidays. Marvin said ” It has been a typical holiday spent with family and friends ….I was working at Arsenal on the 27th Dec and a private show in the West End but after being away and so busy before Xmas it was great to chill out with the family”.

15 year old Alex Stephens on holiday in Dubai asked what have been his favourite Marvin’s Magic sets over the years.

Marvin replied “the Secret Box of Tricks, Mind Blowing Bag of Tricks and the Junior Magic Set. The latter two will be updated and in our 2010 range due to popular demand”.

Barry and Katie Ward from Liverpool and Mr David Casson from St.Louis, MO asked if there coild be some Marvin’s Magic Workshops. Marvin replied ” this is something we get regularly asked for so this year we will try and link up with a large retailer to see if we can get this organised. let us know if you would be interested.
